Robots: Bluetooth Wall-E Remote Controlled Robot
Project name: Bluetooth Remote Controlled Wall-E
Birthdate: April 9, 2010
Description: This robot was originally a plastic toy. I hacked apart the original peices and replaced them with my own internals. Rather then using my usual 2d/3d microcontroller board, I decided on something new. This robot was built to demonstrate my EZ-B Bluetooth board.
The goal: The goal is to demonstrate the EZ-B Bluetooth module and .Net SDK. I wanted to be able to remote control this robot by bluetooth. This lets me use my mobile phone, laptop, iPhone, iTouch, and web browser. It's a fantastic idea because I can remote control this robot remotely. I attach a webcam, and voila!

First video

This is the first video of the finished project. I demonstrate the software and control the robot over various mediums. I even let my friend control the robot remotely from her house over a web browser!
