What would DJ be doing with cars?
Another passion he has is to build and race cars on private race tracks. DJ was the director of
The SVTOA of alberta For many years, where he organized on-track events for auto enthusiasts. DJ closed the SVTOA in 2008.
He build race cars to push the limits of high output built motors. Using forced induction he reliably produces quite a bit of power out of these engines.
In short, he use technology to make power and go fast!

What is wheel horsepower?
You may notice that I specify "wheel horsepower". When you purchase a vehicle, the horsepower specification is measured at the engine. When you modify an engine aftermarket, you measure the horsepower at the wheels using a dyno. The wheel
Horsepower number is less then engine horsepower due to drivetrain loss.

DJ's audI S4
This is my Audi S4, but no regular S4...
It has many power upgrades that moves it into a new class (not to say that the stock horsepower of the S4 wasn't fantastic). But with these performance upgrades, i'm not complaining about the 487 wheel horsepower (nearly 600 Flywheel Horsepower)

DJ's Turbocharged SVTF 2006
This is my turbo SVT focus.
I choose to turbo charge this new motor to make more power and quiet the exhaust over my last version. Both requirements have passed expectation. Everything you see here in this build is entirely custom and one of a kind. Fitting such a large turbo was a challenge, but as you can see.... I did it

DJ's Supercharged SVTF 2005
My dedication to customize this car started the day it was purchased in 2002. With very few aftermarket parts and little modification information meant I was on my own. I met with cam koole from Lightspeed innovations. We started working on the car together and he eventually became one of my best friends.

DJ's Turbocharged Merkur XR4Ti
A couple issues when buying a used car, specifically a modified used car; is that the original owner is very passionate and confident of their work. Which does not indicate quality, like the case of this merkur. This car was abused by it's previous owner and had required a complete restore and rebuild.
