2010-05-16 Calgary Android Sucks
WOW. I am at a loss for words about how re-tarded Android is. I have been using my iPhone for the past few weeks, until today. I have been experiencing issues with my docking cable on the iPhone. So I switched back over to my Android Dream G1.
Because there have been new contacts added, and contacts deleted in my outlook, I decided to sync with the new version of HTC Sync.
Before I ran the sync, I configured the HTC Sync app to overwrite items on the mobile phone, as to protect my existing outlook database. I did that because I had experienced screwed up incidents in the past with the outlook contact syncing application.
Anyway, I ran the sync and bang. It added 77 duplicate contacts to my outlook. Wow, thank you Android. Now I have to go through my outlook and determine which of the 77 duplicate contacts I can delete. Some have been editted since, and contain new home addresses, new business addresses, new numbers, etc.
I can't believe how fustrating this peice of crap google phone is. Google should not make phones, they should stick with search engines and geo mapping. If I hear one more person say "Android is gonna be the next best thing", I'm going to punch them in the face.
