2010-05-13 Calgary Shaw Internet Support Wait Time
I rarely experience an internet outtage, which is good because I host client online-applications during the development phase. So when the internet does go down, it annoys me if i'm working.
Tonight it went down and I was annoyed.
Trying to look up their support number on my phone's internet. Got the number. Dialed the number. And sat on hold for 43 minutes and 32 seconds. Wow! I had it on speaker while i was working and listened to the half-tuned radio station fuzz and something that resembled music.. 80's Jazz I think.
The guy answered and asked if he could help. I told him that my internet was down, but within the 43 minutes, it had come back up. I also told him that I had loaded the dishwasher, cleaned my living room, and ate a bowl of ice cream while waiting.
He asked what he can help me with... I said nothing, I just wanted to see how long it would take before you answered. Haha, I had nothing else to do
