Day 10 – Friday 11th June Eureka -> Tilamook -> Canon Beach Andrew eats cheese Redwood Forests
Day 11 – Saturday 12th June Cannon Beach -> Seattle -> (Calgary Split)
Day 12 – Sunday 13th June Euerka (CA) -> Seattle (WA) Coastal Road Route: 101, 30, I5 1007 km (626 miles) – 11 hrs 14 mins May be we should split into two days as it’s a long way but the roads are supposed to be amazing so don’t want to take the faster inland route I5. However the very North section of highway 101 isn’t supposed to be very nice so we should cut inland at about Longview then head on Highway 5 to Seattle.
Day 13 – Monday 14th June Day in Seattle Possibly visit Microsoft Headquarters at Redmond
Day 14 – Tuesday 15th June Seattle (WA) ->Tiger (WA) 621 km (386 miles) – 9hrs 13 mins Route: I5, 530, 20 Take I5 North of Seattle through Everett then the 530 and onto route 20 the North Cascades National Park. Be careful in Concrete as there are usually speed traps. Check that road is open – it’s seasonally closed.
Day 15 – Wednesday 16th June Tiger (WA) -> Calgary (AB) Choice of two routes via Invermere or via Fernie. Fernie is probably best route even though it’s 19 km longer as we take highway 2 North to Calgary. Invermere: 630 km – 7 hrs 20 mins Fernie: 649 km (403 miles) – 7 hrs 44 mins
