2009-10-31 Kelowna Halloween
This halloween I dressed up as the Borg. My two friends and I created Borg costumes out of painted hockey equipment and random stuff from the dollar store.
I carved our head peices out of foam. I cut them with scissors, and hot glue'd headbands to hold them on our head. The electronics are old circuit boards and led's.
However! My head peice was a programmed microcontroller with an infrared distance sensor. The sensor measured the distance between me and anyone in front of me. If the distance was within 2 feet, the laser would aim itself at the person. Otherwise, it would randomly move around.
I also programmed the microcontroller to flash the led's randomly.
