2008-05-01 Calgary Svt Focus Engine Rebuild
So compression test of cylinder 3 and 4 was low . And getting lower . So I decided to rebuild with a thicker cometic head gasket to drop the cylinder compression . And re-ring the pistons .
Pistons 3 & 4 both had cracked ring landings . Grrrr, but the cylinder wall was perfect . So fortenatly my old engine had a few good pistons in it, i swapped some over . Good to go!
I'm building a real aggressive motor in my old block, so i'll drive this until then .
