2006-05-14 Calgary New Kona Stinky Bike
In a picture a few days ago, my old Kona Bear broke. The frame had been repaired twice already. So I figured it's best to buy a new bike.
I've been enjoying downhill for the past few years. And rebuilt the Bear with beefy components for just that. However, the frame wasn't able to support my fat ass.
I went looking for a beefier bike. And this is what we came up with. It's a 2006 Kona Stinky. Weighing in at almost 50 lbs, it's incredibly heavy and strong.
At the time of this writing i have chair lifted COP numerous times and this is what i have to say about this bike: I @#$#@% LOVE IT!!!
It's a huge tank and nothing stands in its way!!! This bike eats up the downhill trails. Big drops, logs, roots, stairs and technical sloping rock gardens have nothing agaisnt this thing.
