2006-03-11 Arizona Trip Arriving Trip
We got off the plane with our giant boxes containing the bikes. We had to shuttle from the airport to the rental place. That was quite the extreme adventure trying to fight your way onto a shuttle with a bunch of grumpy old men and their golf bags. When we got to the rental place, they didn't even have the SUV that was reserved.
So that really pissed me off and after an hour of explaining that we needed something large enough for our bikes, they gave us this new GMC or Chevy thing that looks like a PT Cruiser. It was perfect, fit both bikes standing up!
Then the place that we moved into was perfect. Of course it was raining when we showed up, but the condo was awesome. Fireplace, 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, large kitchen, etc. Even a pool and hot tub.
