2006-02-15 Calgary Dlp Bedroom Projector
So having a 48" Sony HDTV with HDMI to my Media Center PC in my living room wasn't enough....
Today I treated myself with this for my bedroom!
- Acer HDTV DLP Projector (2000:1 Contrast)
- 2x512 mb DDR Ram
- 15 ft VGA cable
- Microsoft Media Center IR Remote
- Hauppauge MCE500 (dual tuner w/ hardware mpeg encoders)
The projector is on a shelf behind the bed. Projected onto the wall it's about 8 feet by 8 feet. Uber gigantor!!!
The computer is running Microsoft's Media Center with a Hauppauge card. The setup mimics my living room, except my living room is only 48" HDTV.
