2006-01-03 Calgary Roomba Getting Stuck
When i first got the roomba discovery it was awesome. But lately it's been getting stuck. It hasn't been able to complete more then 10 minutes of cleaning.
It seems to only happen when it hits either the front or rear doormats. It'll run on the doormat fine and suddenly start reversing. It'll reverse into a wall and continue trying to reverse, then it'll just stop.
Firstly, the reason for it backing up is a mystery. I don't know what sensor could be triggering that reaction.
Secondly, i don't understand why it stops with error when it tries to backup anyway. It should try, realize it can't and go forward again.

The black of the rug confused the stair sensors. So i taped the sensors and now it work great! It's like it should be and finds it's way back to the charger when done cleaning. I'm real happy with this product now!
